We’re off on holiday !!!

We will be leaving for Surfers Paradise Friday the 6th of October. We’ve kept it as a surprise to the kids. We told them tonight. Well we only decided last night that we are going to go, so it is a bit of a surprise to ourselves as well. We still have to apply for leave and the accommodation has already been paid. Talk about doing things backwards. But this was all really done on the spur of the moment.

We are leaving on Friday morning at 04:00. We are driving to SurfersSurfers Paradise Paradise and we will be returning the following Sunday the 15th. This means that we will be spending ten days in Surfers Paradise.

We have never been on a holiday in Australia. Actually we have never been on a holiday where it has just been the four of us. We’ve been away on a few occasions with family and friends, but this is the first time that we as a family have gone away. We are all looking forward to it.

The kids were so overwhelmed. They did not expect for one moment that we would do something like this. It is so great to see the appreciation and love on their faces and just being totally overwhelmed with sheer joy. It fills our hearts with joy to know that our kids really appreciate this.

We have two wonderful kids. Charmaine and I dearly love both of them with all our hearts. We thank God every day for giving us such beautiful kids. We thanks Him for entrusting us with them and we love them and try to give them the best upbringing that we can.

Back to the holiday. I can’t wait. We are going to Movie World, Sea World and Wet’nWild. These are all theme parks. We’ve pre-booked our park passes and we’ve opted to go for the 14 day pass. This means that we can go to any of the parks within a two week period. I’m sure the kids are going to run us into the ground, but we’ll definitely give them a go. I personally think that Charmaine will outrun us all. She is definitely the fittest of us all.

Speaking of Charmaine. We will be there for her birthday on the eighth of October. We are going to do something special for her birthday, but more about that later, can’t give anything away at this stage. I’m sure she will enjoy the surprise that I have installed for her…………….

We’ll upload photos as soon as we can. I’ll let you know when they are available. If you want to know what the weather is like while we’re there, then click here.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my Husband

To the man that loves me & our children unconditionally
To the man who gives freely of himself to his friends.
To the man who knows that sometimes you don’t have to talk loudly to be heard and respected.
To the man who really does see the good in everyone, and helps me remember that sometimes first impressions should not be the last ones.
To the man who has the ability to make me feel better no matter how bad things seem.
To the man who helps keep my feet on the ground, but always makes me feel like I’m walking a little bit above the earth.
To the man who holds my hand whenever we’re together.
To the man who is my best friend and my greatest hero and the love of my life.

To the man that I can’t imagine living without.

Happy Birthday!

Eventually

It’s been a while, but this website is eventually starting to take shape.

I would try to keep you all up to date with news and things that are happening and hopefully - if the story is good enough then there might be some pictures to accompany it.

Please go and have a look at the Photos that I’ve uploaded. On the right hand side is an option Photos that will take you to the Photo Album. I’ve posted photos of ourselves, our friends, places around Sydney as well as photos that I took at one of our friends’ sons wedding on the 9th of September 2006. I’ve posted 366 photos for a start.

Enjoy.

O, yeah, please feel free to leave comments here or in the Photo Album.

Greetings

The Anfields in Oz.
