It is awfully quiet at home.

My darling wife is in South Africa and I hope that she is going to have a great time. I’ll post all the pictures once she’s back in three weeks time.

She’ll be staying with my parents until Friday. Then she joins her sister Beulah and her parent on a trip down to Cape Town for a week. I’m sure that is going to be great. I wouldn’t mind being in the Cape myself right now. Returning from the Cape Charmaine will stay with my parents again until she flies back home.

Charmaine - I miss you very much. I couldn’t imagine doing life without you.

Lake Cathie Holiday

A really BIG thank you to everyone involved with arranging a wonderful holiday. We enjoyed every moment of it. And with such a crowd you can just imagine all the laughs that we shared.

We are already looking forward to next year.

I’ve posted the photos of the holiday on our site. Click here to view the photos. I took more than 1,900 photos in the seven days and tried to cut it back as much as possible. I’ve only managed to cut it back to 750, so you’ll probably not get through all of them at once, but please have a look - there are some really great shots and a lot of laughs.

Well personally I do appreciate it having 4 wheels underneath me. But then again I would not mind spending more time on 2, but a car like this could also be a lot of fun. It’s called the Atom. It’s the creation of a small company with only 7 employees, but boy does it pack a punch.

After looking at this clip I must say you would probably age a lot quicker with the Atom. Plastic surgery would definately be on the cards with that amount of wind in your face.

Now this is for all you rev-heads - like me - out there

The video clip tells the whole story. You’ll see some of the latest technology from BMW. It is amazing to see how farr the limits are being pushed.
I think it must be a funny sensation sitting behind the wheel, but not being in control…

Yea well it probably had to happen at one stage or another. Being a bit of a rev-head myself I’ve decided to create a new category called Anything Wheels. I’ll try to keep it up to date with interesting things as I come across them… watch this space…

We would like to thank everyone that attended Charmaine’s 40th birthday party.

We were truly blessed to have our family from South Africa here for this special occasion.

We truly enjoyed it and hope you all enjoyed it too. It was great to be able to share this special day with all of you. You are a very important part of our lives and we thank God for putting each and everyone of you on our path. We are honored to be doing life together.

This is a great clip. Nature can be very cruel. This clip is eight minutes long, but absolutely worth it. It was shot in the Kruger National Park in South Africa - buffalos coming down to water to drink and being ambushed by a pack of young lions.
