My next Job

I don’t want to be picky, but this will have to be one of my “perks” at my next job. I’ve learnt that there are certain things one have to fight for - and this is one of them…

We cannot do everything, but we must do something…

Dear Friend,

Compassion have a goal to see 10,000 children sponsored - and I pray we all play our part.

During Hillsong Conference last week, you would have received an individual child’s profile from Compassion. I encourage you to do whatever you can to help your child find a sponsor.

You can either sponsor this child yourself, or, find someone you know who can become their sponsor. You might even be able to find more than one sponsor.

I passionately believe that one of the great keys to making poverty history is to rescue the children, to see the next generation empowered. This is something we all need to take personal responsibility for. There are parents all over the world, who need help raising their children.

I really want to encourage you – don’t leave this to someone else. Let’s all do what we can to see these children released from the cycle of poverty and be a generation that is empowered to fulfill their potential, in Jesus’ name.

Love,

HOW TO SPONSOR YOUR CHILD
The goal is to have 10000 children sponsored before the end of July – so we’ve got about two weeks left. We would love to be able to reach this goal. But this is an ongoing challenge to rescue children from poverty all over the world.

We’ve taken on two children, but we have these kids still looking for sponsorship.

Their future is in your hands.

Tree vs Ute = Tree always wins

This happened in South Africa. Well we all know what is going to happen, but for some reason the owner of this vehicle did not see it coming….

As I said - the tree wins…

Charmaine is in South Africa

It is awfully quiet at home.

My darling wife is in South Africa and I hope that she is going to have a great time. I’ll post all the pictures once she’s back in three weeks time.

She’ll be staying with my parents until Friday. Then she joins her sister Beulah and her parent on a trip down to Cape Town for a week. I’m sure that is going to be great. I wouldn’t mind being in the Cape myself right now. Returning from the Cape Charmaine will stay with my parents again until she flies back home.

Charmaine - I miss you very much. I couldn’t imagine doing life without you.
